Are you part of the LGBTQIA+ youth community or an ally? Are you interested in activism? Would you like to learn all about the different types of activism and find out which one works best for you? Do you enjoy meeting new people and living new experiences? You'll be happy to hear about our upcoming Members' event Activate Youth: The Camp!
Organised on 26 July — 6 August 2023 in Ommen, The Netherlands, Activate Youth: The Camp will bring together 30 LGBTQIA+ young people and allies in a shared space, where you'll be able to explore and experience different forms of activism through non-formal learning, and focusing on community building.
This playful, interactive, colourful and dynamic camp takes place within a long-term project called "Activate Youth", which aims to foster involvement within the LGBTQIA+ youth communities and their allies to increase their active participation in society and in their local communities.
The camp is organised by IGLYO Members My Rainbow Institute (Slovenia) and Cassero LGBTI Center (Italy), as well as by Active Rainbow (Latvia), Olde Vechte Foundation (The Netherlands), Roes Cooperativa (Greece), and Rouge Noorsootoo Keskuse (Estonia), and is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and Erasmus+ Jeugd.
