A Year of Exciting Projects
In 2024, IGLYO provided €10,000 IGLYO Grants for 3 new projects implemented by our Member Organisations in the EU, in addition to supporting the grantees with expertise. This year’s thematic areas were: contributing to more inclusive education systems; counteracting the anti-gender movement; and strengthening accessibility. The three projects have now come to an end, and we're super excited to share their full stories below!
- Our Member rede ex aequo used their IGLYO Grant to contribute to more inclusive education systems, and work towards creating a safe and inclusive school environment that specifically protects LGBTI youth in Portugal. Read the full story.
- Our Member Transfeminiinit based in Finland used their IGLYO Grant to create comics with the aim of countering the anti-gender movement through art. Read the full story. Read their full story.
- Our Czech Queer & Trans Youth (QTY) CZ used their IGLYO Grant to make the organisation more accessible to queer youth with a variety of additional needs: queer autistic or neurodivergent youth, deaf/hard of hearing, blind/visually impaired and those with mobility restrictions such as wheelchair users.
