What we seek
We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented editor and proofreader to assist us with internal documents on an ad hoc basis. As an organisation focused on advancing LGBTQI youth rights at a European and international level, we require someone who is well-versed in the language and terminology specific to the LGBTQI+ and youth advocacy sectors. We are particularly interested in someone who can offer precise, clear, and culturally sensitive editing while maintaining the integrity of the original content.
Eligibility Criteria
The proof-reader should demonstrate that they fulfil the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in editing and proofreading policy documents and other written materials in English.
- Good understanding and familiarity with the language used in the sectors of Youth and LGBTIQ+ advocacy.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and style.
- Be able to sign contracts and provide IGLYO with invoices for each ad hoc mission. This is a requirement for IGLYO to make payments.
