Celebrate 40 Years of IGLYO with Us!
Since 1984, IGLYO has been at the heart of the queer youth movement in Europe. In that time, we have evolved on countless occasions, from a volunteer-led protest organisation, all the way to the IGLYO you know now, working on advocacy, capacity building, communications and movement building.
Now, it's time to celebrate our achievements at our IGLYO 40th Anniversary AMC on 24-28 October 2024 in the beautiful city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This AMC is one not to be missed with a unique exhibition of our archives, reflection on 40 years of our movement, and many more celebrations.
And we're not the only ones turning 40 this year. As we celebrate our anniversary, the local queer community in Slovenia will be celebrating 40 years of their movement too. To mark the occasion, we're happy to host the AMC with not one, not two, but five local IGLYO Member Organisation: ŠKUC Magnus, Legebitra, TransAkcija, DIH, and Moja Mavrica. It's going to be a big queer 40th birthday bash and we're looking forward to seeing you there!
