Are you a young LGBTIQ+ person who's 18 or above and based in Europe? Were you forced to leave your home, did you leave or run away from it, and/or were you homeless before turning 18? Your story matters!
One of the main goals of our project LGBTIQ+ Missing Children is to collect qualitative data on the experiences of young LGBTIQ+ people with experience of being homeless, running away and/or being forced to leave their home before the age of 18.
We want this project to centre the voices of young LGBTIQ+ people to inform the activities included in the project, namely a report for professionals, a training for practitioners and stakeholders, an awareness-raising campaign, and policy recommendations. The ultimate goal of the project is to positively impact LGBTIQ+ children at risk of “going missing”.
To achieve this, we’re currently running a multilingual survey as well as online interviews that can turn your story into a powerful way to help other LGBTQI young people in similar situations. Read more and take our anonymous survey and/or sign up for an interview by 16 March 2025!
“LGBTIQ+ Missing - The voice of LGBTIQ+ young people with experience of going missing before the age of 18” is co-funded by the European Union under the call CERV-2023-EQUAL (project number 101144825).
