Celebrating IGLYO's 35th Anniversary at the heart of Finland
In October 2019, we organised our Annual Members’ Conference in Helsinki, Finland, in collaboration with our Member Organisation Seta – LGBTI Rights in Finland. The AMC Helsinki 2019 gathered over 100 LGBTQI young activists from across the Council of Europe Region, making it the largest AMC to date.
During the three-day workshops were held on various topics including IGLYO’s Work Plan & Budget 2020, refugees and migration, and LGBTQI rights in Finland. For the second day of the event, 21 alumni members joined the programme to discuss the history of IGLYO and mark 35 years of the organisation.
On the final day, the members discussed and approved key documents including IGLYO’s work plan, budget, finance report, and governance report, as well as electing three new board members.
Happy birthday to us — and a special thanks to our host Member Seta, the IGLYO teams, our funders, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this the biggest AMC IGLYO has ever organised!
