Trans Mreža Balkan (TMB)

TMB (Trans Mreža/Network Balkan) is the only trans-led regional organisation in the Balkans, founded in 2014, registered in Croatia, and active in 8 countries of the Balkan region: Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo.

TMB envisions an ecologically sustainable world in which every person’s experience and expression of gender and sex are respected and valued, together with the totality of their identities and experiences.

Their mission

The TMB team works across 5 programmes to empower a regional intersectional trans feminist movement, and local TIGV (trans, intersex, gender variant) communities and individuals in the Balkans to actively engage with social justice movements, towards liberation from oppression based on gender, class, race and other marginalised experiences, as well as the recovery of our planet.
