ShoutOut is a registered charity committed to improving life for LGBTQ+ people by sharing personal stories and running educational programmes. Since 2012, they have been delivering workshops tackling LGBTQ+ bullying in secondary schools across the island of Ireland. This represents over 2,250 student workshops completed, in which they have spoken directly to over 67,500 students.
ShoutOut uses their on-the-ground experience of speaking with young people to inform all of their training modules. They also deliver educational workshops for teachers, parents & guardians, social workers, youth workers, as well as workplaces.
ShoutOut's mission is to end the exclusion of LGBTQIA+ people. Their charitable purpose is the advancement of education, the advancement of community welfare, the integration of those who are disadvantaged, and the promotion of their full participation in society.
