About
Moldox Association is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to advancing human rights in republic of Moldova. Their inception stemmed from the establishment of the Moldox International Documentary Film Festival, a seminal event amplifying a spectrum of narratives and addressing pressing socio-political issues.
Building upon this foundation, they spearheaded the Queer Voices International Film Festival, an initiative aimed at elevating LGBTQ+ voices and narratives worldwide. Recognising the need for tangible support and inclusivity, they subsequently founded the Queer Community Cafe — a multifaceted hub designed to foster a sense of belonging, acceptance, and social cohesion among LGBTQ+ individuals.
Through curated artistic programming and community engagement initiatives, the Queer Community Cafe serves as a beacon of empowerment, challenging societal norms and advocating for the full realisation of human rights for all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
