Jugendnetzwerk Lambda

Jugendnetzwerk Lambda is a Germany-wide association for queer youth and queer youth work. At Lambda, young queers are committed to improve their living conditions: for more freedom, more opportunities, more social participation, and more networking and exchange. This takes place in various projects mainly on a voluntary basis.

The youth network Lambda (Jugendnetzwerk Lambda) is for everyone who is young and queer. It doesn't matter if you're lesbian, gay, bi, trans*, inter*, queer, or just unsure: There's room for you there!

Their mission

To achieve their objectives, Jugendnetzwerk Lambda acts on different levels:

They offer a nationwide peer support (empowerment groups and individual support) for young LGBTIQ people.
Through youth encounters and workshops, they make it easier for young queers to get to know each other and exchange ideas.
They organise various DIY projects to boost self-confidence and make it easier to raise one's voice.
In addition, they also politically advocate for their interests at the federal and state level.

Their volunteers are supported in these tasks by a team of eight staff members currently.
